These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between NRI Connect TV and each person accessing or using the Services (“you” or “user”).

These Terms apply to all NRI Connect TV Services that link to or incorporate these Terms, unless a particular product, event, promotion, subscription, contest or service expressly provides different terms.

NATURE OF NRI CONNECT TV

NRI Connect TV is a digital media and information publisher.

Our coverage may include:

health and lifestyle;

events;
interviews;
entertainment; and
general current affairs.

NRI Connect TV may create original content and may also research stories using government releases, public records, regulatory announcements, press releases, licensed or permitted feeds, publisher materials, interviews and publicly available information.

CHANGES TO THE SERVICES AND TERMS

We may modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue all or any part of the Services at any time.

We may also revise these Terms.

When material revisions are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may provide additional notice where required by law.

Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you do not agree with revised Terms, stop using the Services.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separately established professional engagement, nothing published by NRI Connect TV constitutes individualized:

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of NRI Connect TV intellectual property to you.

LIMITED LICENSE TO USERS

Subject to these Terms, NRI Connect TV grants users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access publicly available Services for lawful personal and noncommercial use.

You may generally:

read our articles;
watch publicly available videos;
share direct links;
use ordinary platform sharing tools; and
quote limited excerpts where legally permitted and properly attributed.

You may not automatically assume that content can be copied merely because it is publicly accessible.

COPYRIGHT, FAIR USE AND THIRD-PARTY MATERIAL

NRI Connect TV respects copyright law.

Our reporting may sometimes quote, describe, critique, comment upon or display limited portions of third-party works for journalism, commentary, education or other legally permissible purposes.

Under U.S. law, whether a particular use qualifies as fair use depends on the circumstances and statutory factors. Fair use is not determined merely by:

AUTOMATED ACCESS, SCRAPING AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE USE

Major publishers increasingly address unauthorized automated extraction explicitly. Unless NRI Connect TV expressly authorizes it in writing, you may not use:

bots;
spiders;
crawlers;
scrapers;
automated agents;
scripts;
bulk-download tools;
data-mining technologies; or
comparable automated systems

to systematically collect, copy or extract NRI Connect TV Content.

Without prior written permission, you may not use NRI Connect TV Content for:

training machine-learning systems;
training generative-AI models;
fine-tuning AI systems;
retrieval-augmented-generation datasets;
commercial AI grounding;
model evaluation datasets;
commercial text-and-data mining;
creating content databases;
providing cached archives to third parties; or
building competing news or information products.

Ordinary indexing by legitimate search engines consistent with our technical instructions is not prohibited by this section.

NRI Connect TV may implement robots.txt, technical controls, rate limits or other access restrictions.

USER COMMENTS AND USER-GENERATED CONTENT

If the Services permit comments, reviews, community posts, photographs, videos, questions or other submissions (“User Content”), you retain whatever ownership rights you otherwise have in your original User Content.

However, you remain solely responsible for material you submit.

By submitting User Content, you represent that:

you have sufficient rights to submit it;
it does not violate applicable law;
it does not violate another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
it is not knowingly defamatory;
it does not impersonate another person;
it does not contain unlawful threats; and
you have obtained permissions required for people depicted or recorded where applicable.

LICENSE GRANTED FOR USER SUBMISSIONS

By submitting User Content to NRI Connect TV, you grant NRICONNECTTV a:

worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license

to:

host;
store;
reproduce;
publish;
display;
distribute;
transmit;
excerpt;
edit;
format;
translate;
caption;
adapt;
promote;
archive;
create derivative versions of; and
otherwise use

the submitted material in connection with NRI Connect TV and its editorial, promotional and commercial operations.

This license applies through media and technologies currently existing or later developed.

Unless separately agreed, NRI Connect TV is not obligated to pay compensation for ordinary voluntary submissions.

COMMENT MODERATION AND REMOVAL

NRI Connect TV encourages constructive discussion but does not guarantee publication or preservation of any comment.

We may, but are not obligated to:

review;
moderate;
reject;
edit;
hide;
restrict;
disable; or
remove

User Content.

We may take these actions before or after publication.

Removal decisions may be based on editorial judgment and may include content that is:

abusive;
harassing;
defamatory;
threatening;
off-topic;
spam;
discriminatory;
obscene;
fraudulent;
commercially promotional;
privacy-invasive;
copyright-infringing; or
otherwise inconsistent with our policies.

Moderation does not mean NRI Connect TV endorses User Content that remains visible.

PROHIBITED USER CONTENT

Users may not post or submit content that:

knowingly contains materially false allegations;
defames another person;
threatens violence;
promotes unlawful conduct;
sexually exploits minors;
contains nonconsensual intimate material;
exposes sensitive private information;
infringes copyright or trademark rights;
impersonates individuals or organizations;
contains malware;
conducts scams;
unlawfully solicits money;
deceptively advertises services;
manipulates platform engagement;
promotes harassment; or
violates applicable law.

NRI Connect TV may cooperate with lawful government or judicial requests where required.

STORY TIPS, PHOTOS, VIDEOS AND NEWS SUBMISSIONS

Users may submit:

news tips;
event notices;
photographs;
video;
eyewitness information;
documents;
interview suggestions; or
other story materials.

Submission does not guarantee publication.

Unless NRI Connect TV expressly agrees otherwise:

submissions are not confidential;
NRI Connect TV has no obligation to pursue the story;
NRI Connect TV may independently investigate the same subject;
similar material may already have been received elsewhere; and
submission does not create an employment or contributor relationship.

Do not submit confidential source material expecting source protection unless an authorized NRI Connect TV editor has expressly agreed to confidentiality.

RIGHTS OF PUBLICITY, RELEASES AND PERMISSIONS

When submitting photographs, recordings or video, you represent that you have obtained any permissions reasonably necessary for the proposed use where required by law.

Special caution applies to:

minors;
private property;
commercially sponsored shoots;
private events;
private conversations; and
content captured where applicable recording-consent laws may apply.

NRI Connect TV may request written releases before publication.

COPYRIGHT COMPLAINTS AND DMCA

If NRI Connect TV permits user-posted content, formal DMCA procedures can be particularly valuable.

Section 512 of the DMCA provides qualifying online service providers with certain limitations on copyright liability when statutory conditions are met. A service provider seeking relevant protections generally must designate an agent, publish the agent’s information on its website, register that agent with the Copyright Office and appropriately respond to compliant notices. A copyright owner who believes material hosted through our Services infringes their rights may submit a notice containing:

the physical or electronic signature of an authorized person;
identification of the copyrighted work;
identification and location of allegedly infringing material;
sufficient contact information;
a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized; and
a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act.

Important operational requirement

If NRI Connect TV intends to seek Section 512 safe-harbor protection, merely publishing this clause is not enough.

The Copyright Office currently requires qualifying providers seeking the protection to register their designated agent electronically and maintain accurate information both in the Copyright Office directory and on their website. U.S. Copyright Office

COUNTER-NOTIFICATIONS

Where applicable, a user whose content has been removed following a DMCA notice may submit a legally sufficient counter-notification.

Counter-notifications should include the information required under applicable copyright law.

Because a counter-notification may involve consent to federal-court jurisdiction and other legal consequences, users may wish to obtain legal advice before submitting one.

REPEAT COPYRIGHT INFRINGERS

Where required for applicable DMCA protections, NRI Connect TV may adopt and reasonably implement a policy providing for termination, in appropriate circumstances, of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights.

TRADEMARKS AND BRAND USE

“NRI Connect TV,” “NRICONNECTTV,” associated logos, visual identity, slogans and other source identifiers may constitute trademarks or service marks of NRICONNECTTV.

You may not use NRI Connect TV branding in a manner that:

suggests sponsorship;
implies endorsement;
impersonates us;
creates consumer confusion;
falsely identifies an unofficial social account; or
falsely suggests affiliation.

Media references and legitimate nominative uses are not prohibited merely because they mention our name.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND SYNTHETIC MEDIA

NRI Connect TV may use AI tools for:

research assistance;
discovery;
document analysis;
transcription;
translation;
drafting assistance;
SEO;
editing;
graphics;
synthetic illustrations; and
production workflows.

AI output can contain errors.

NRI Connect TV may use human review and source verification, particularly for high-stakes information. Synthetic images or video should not intentionally be presented as authentic documentary evidence of an event that did not occur.

ADVERTISING, SPONSORSHIPS AND AFFILIATE RELATIONSHIPS

NRI Connect TV may display:

advertising;
native advertising;
sponsored articles;
sponsored podcasts;
paid interviews;
affiliate links;
branded content;
event sponsorships; and
other commercial material.

Sponsored material does not necessarily reflect independent editorial judgment.

The FTC states that native advertising should be clearly identifiable as advertising when its format could otherwise mislead consumers into believing that it is ordinary editorial content. Disclosures should be clear and prominent, including near the headline or other focal point where appropriate. Federal Trade Commission

NRI Connect TV may therefore label commercial content with terms such as:

Advertisement;
Paid Advertisement;
Sponsored;
Sponsored Content; or
Paid Partnership.

Advertisers are responsible for their representations and compliance with applicable laws and professional rules.

THIRD-PARTY PROFESSIONALS AND GUESTS

NRI Connect TV may interview or feature:

attorneys;
immigration professionals;
accountants;
financial professionals;
investment professionals;
doctors;
business owners;
politicians;
academics;
community leaders; and
other guests.

Their views are their own unless expressly stated otherwise.

Appearance on NRI Connect TV does not constitute:

endorsement;
certification;
referral;
guarantee of credentials;
guarantee of professional quality; or
guarantee of results.

Users should independently investigate professionals before retaining them.

EXTERNAL LINKS AND EMBEDDED SERVICES

The Services may include third-party:

NRI Connect TV does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, policies, security or services.

Links do not necessarily constitute endorsement.

licensed onward; or

government restrictions;
force majeure; or
technical issues.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

NRI Connect TV makes no warranty that:

the Services will be uninterrupted;
information will always be error-free;
defects will immediately be corrected;
the Services will be free from malicious code;
third-party services will remain available; or
reliance on any information will produce a particular result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NRICONNECTTV AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRIBUTORS, CONTRACTORS, VOLUNTEERS, LICENSORS AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES.

This includes, where legally permissible, loss arising from:

reliance on published information;
financial decisions;
immigration decisions;
tax decisions;
employment decisions;
loss of data;
lost profits;
business interruption;
third-party conduct;
unauthorized account activity; or
inability to access the Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where applicable law prohibits limitation.

INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless NRICONNECTTV and its officers, members, personnel and affiliates from third-party claims arising out of:

your User Content;
your unlawful use of the Services;
your violation of these Terms;
your infringement of intellectual-property rights;
your violation of privacy/publicity rights; or
your fraud or intentional misconduct.

NRI Connect TV reserves the right to control the defense of claims subject to indemnification.

RELEASE REGARDING USERS AND THIRD PARTIES

NRI Connect TV is generally not responsible for disputes between users or between users and third parties discovered through the Services.

To the extent permitted by law, you release NRI Connect TV from claims arising solely from independent transactions or disputes between you and:

advertisers;
sponsors;
professionals;
event organizers;
contributors;
commenters; or
other third parties.

SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including for:

violations of these Terms;
suspected fraud;
security risks;
copyright infringement;
harassment;
unlawful activity;
abuse of comments;
unauthorized scraping; or
operational reasons.

Termination does not automatically erase previously submitted material where NRI Connect TV retains valid rights to use it.

PRESERVATION AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

NRI Connect TV may preserve or disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

comply with law;
respond to lawful legal process;
enforce these Terms;
investigate fraud;
protect safety;
defend legal claims; or
protect NRI Connect TV’s rights.

This does not create an obligation to voluntarily disclose information beyond applicable law.

INTERNATIONAL USERS

NRI Connect TV may be accessible globally.

The fact that content can be accessed in another country does not mean NRI Connect TV represents that every aspect of the Services complies with all laws of every jurisdiction.

Users accessing the Services outside the United States are responsible for compliance with applicable local law.

Mandatory consumer or privacy rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

GOVERNING LAW

Subject to mandatory laws that may apply to particular users, these Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Before filing formal proceedings, a user and NRI Connect TV should make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.

A user initiating a dispute should send written notice describing:

their name;
contact information;
the nature of the dispute;
the relevant transaction or content; and
requested resolution

The parties should have at least 30 days to attempt informal resolution before initiating arbitration or litigation, unless emergency injunctive relief is reasonably necessary.

ARBITRATION AND CLASS-ACTION WAIVER

Except for eligible small-claims matters, intellectual-property claims and claims seeking emergency injunctive relief, disputes arising from these Terms or Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under agreed arbitration rules. Neither party may bring or participate in a class action, class arbitration, representative action or consolidated proceeding except where applicable law prohibits such a waiver.

INTELLECTUAL-PROPERTY INJUNCTIVE RELIEF

Notwithstanding any dispute-resolution provision, NRI Connect TV may seek appropriate judicial relief to prevent or stop:

copyright infringement;
trademark infringement;
unauthorized access;
credential theft;
trade-secret misappropriation; or
unauthorized scraping/data extraction

where permitted by law.

TIME LIMIT FOR CLAIMS

To the extent permitted by law, you and NRI Connect TV may agree that claims arising from the Services must be initiated within one year after the claim accrues.

Because contractual limitation periods can vary in enforceability depending on the type of claim and applicable law.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

By interacting electronically with NRI Connect TV, you consent to receive communications only electronically where legally permitted.

Electronic communications may satisfy legal requirements that communications be in writing.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent legally permitted or severed where necessary.

The remaining provisions remain effective.

NO WAIVER

Failure by NRI Connect TV to enforce a provision does not constitute waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it later.

ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.

NRI Connect TV may assign these Terms in connection with:

a merger;
acquisition;
corporate restructuring;
transfer of substantially all assets; or
transfer of the relevant business operation,

subject to applicable law.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with incorporated policies and any applicable supplemental terms, constitute the agreement between you and NRI Connect TV concerning use of the Services.

SURVIVAL

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue, including provisions concerning:

intellectual property;
User Content licenses;
disclaimers;
limitation of liability;
indemnification;
dispute resolution; and
governing law.
