NRI Connect TV Corrections Policy

1. What We Correct

NRI Connect TV may correct material errors involving:

• names;
• dates;
• locations;
• statistics;
• quotations;
• government rules;
• processing deadlines;
• financial figures;
• factual descriptions;
• professional titles;
• photographs or captions;
• links to official sources; or
• other information that could materially affect a reader’s understanding.

2. Minor Changes

Minor typographical, grammatical, formatting, or stylistic edits that do not affect the substance of an article may be corrected without a formal correction notice.

3. Material Corrections

When an error materially changes the meaning of a story, NRI Connect TV will generally attempt to:

1. correct the inaccurate information; and
2. add an appropriate correction or update notice explaining the material change.

Example:

Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that the policy became effective on September 1. The correct effective date is October 1. The article has been updated.

4. Updates Are Not Necessarily Corrections

A story may be accurate when originally published and later become outdated because new information becomes available.

In those situations, we may label the change:

Correction

5. How to Request a Correction

Readers may report suspected errors by emailing: corrections@nriconnecttv.com

Please provide:

• the article URL;
• the specific statement believed to be inaccurate;
• the reason it is inaccurate; and
• supporting documentation or authoritative sources, if available.

6. Review Process

NRI Connect TV will review correction requests in good faith.

Submitting a correction request does not guarantee that the requested change will be made.

We may contact the requester for additional evidence.

7. Removal Requests

NRI Connect TV generally prefers correcting accurate public-interest reporting rather than deleting an entire article.

Requests for removal may be considered based on factors including:

• demonstrated factual error;
• privacy concerns;
• safety;
• legal obligations;
• intellectual-property rights;
• court orders; or
• exceptional circumstances.
